Starting with a 1965 Chevrolet C10 Forest sought out to make himself a genuine patinaed truck with performance and modern touches. Air ride suspension, big block power, Weiand intake manifold, Holley carburetors and a custom exhaust get it low to the ground, going fast and sounding mean. Forest being known for his custom metal fabrication has done some extensive work to his truck and you’ll see plenty of that in the pictures below. Cartronics was tasked with giving the truck some more attitude with a custom sound system.
Using high end Morel speakers and JL Audio subwoofers we gave this beast sound that compliments Forest’s current modifications and vision for his truck. Using custom sub enclosures under the seat on both passenger and driver side, JL Audio 8W3v3 subwoofers and Bluetooth controller, Morel Virtus Nano Carbon speakers in custom kick panel enclosures and a JL Audio amplifier bring this truck into the 21st century with clear sound and tight bass. Sound deadening material throughout the cab ensures that the sound stays in the truck and prevents unwanted rattle while keeping outside noise at a minimum. We finished they system off with a Rockford Fosgate DSR1digital signal processor providing us the ability to tune the system perfectly for Forest.
