The Snow Cat

A local legend who has a fleet of cool toys brought us one of his snow cats for some customization. The snow cat is meant to move snow and traverse terrain that other vehicles cannot.

Starting with the non-existent audio system we made custom speaker pods front and rear housing marine RGB Rockford Fosgate 8” speakers color controlled by Rockford’s RGB controller, added a custom subwoofer box housing two Rockford Fosgate Punch P3 10” subwoofers all run by a Rockford Fosgate marine 1000w 5-channel amplifier and controlled by Rockford’s top of the line PMX-8 marine head unit with color display.

To give the snow cat a leg up over others in the fleet we added a night vision rear view camera which is viewable from the PMX-8 color display. As well, we made new chrome diamond plate kick panels for the front to keep the driver and passenger in place when traversing terrain. Further more, Sirius/XM satellite radio was added as the snow cat will be working in areas where cell phones with Blue Tooth will not get signal.
